Permit (ROP) and concerned that it will impact your operations? VEI has assisted numerous facilities with the obligations of the Renewable Operating Permit (ROP) program under Title V of the Clean Air
Act. VEI’s services include development of comprehensive emission inventories to determine source wide actual and potential emissions of criteria and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) to aid in
applicability determinations regarding the Title V ROP program. VEI also provides assistance in developing applications and negotiating ROPs. VEI understands the importance of flexibility in the ROP
program and we strive to minimize the additional administrative burdens and regulatory liability that can be associated with ineffective ROP development and can severely impact a client’s
operations.Once a client receives notice that an ROP is pending issuance, they can rely on VEI’s air quality team to assist with preparing and implementing effective ROP compliance systems. VEI’s
experience with many industry types throughout many states allows our staff to provide compliance system approaches and alternatives to virtually any Title V ROP. VEI is also able to provide clients
with the appropriate information regarding synthetic minor permits and/or federally approved state operating permits (FESOP). VEI recognizes that the decision to obtain a such a permit can be critical
to our client’s operations and requires several key decisions. VEI has been successful in negotiating numerous synthetic minor and FESOP permits that have resulted in less onerous compliance concerns
while maintaining operational flexibility. |
